So! Why create EG?
The goal for Eternal Garage was to create a global automotive community site that preserves, entertains and informs. The automotive market and enthusiast community had a need that wasn't being fulfilled until Eternal Garage.
A peek into creating the Eternal Garage branding
- A good user experience starts with a well-thought-out name. When searched, it must appear on the first page of Google without SEO.
- The name must give insight to the purpose of the site
- Include nomenclature recognizable to the auto enthusiast community
- Convey longevity, infinity, or perpetuity
- Depict a vehicle or an automotive part
- Resonate with automotive enthusiasts
- Traffic light green, a little rush of excitement automotive enthusiasts get - green means go!
- The green in "evergreen" meaning longevity and preservation
- This particular green was mixed to be an homage to the classic 60s green found on vintage cars while still being mindful for accessibility contrast
